It isn’t too long to wait until the release of Age of Wonders 4, the latest in the long-running 4Xstrategy series. It marks Triumph Studios’ first return to the franchise since the 2019 spin-off Age of Wonders: Planetfall, and we can’t wait to get tactical!
But what of the pre-order bonus? What’s included for anyone who wishes to pick this up before its release date? Let’s take a look!
The most notable content from the bonus pack is a brand-new ruler: Aric Rex. Whilst not much is known about the Tigran High King, we do know he’s a pre-made ruler rather than a reskin of an existing character. We also know that he looks very likely to bite your hand off should you try to pet him!
And what is a ruler without their lavish garments? Also included in this pre-order is a rather elegant set of Lion Plate armour, an Imperial cape, and — as all High Kings need — a rather dashing Athlan crown. These cosmetics aren’t just exclusive to Aric Rex either, and any custom ruler you create will be able to don these kingly fineries.
