Ex S.T.A.L.K.E.R. developers' latest project arrives soon
Vostok Games has announced that the FPS battle royale Fear the Wolves will arrive on Steam PC Early Access later this month.
The game, which combines traditional last-man-standing gameplay with PVE elements, will be available from July 18th and features an "atmospheric experience" in the decaying ruins of Chernobyl. Players will have to deal with unique radiation, weather, and endgame extraction mechanics during combat with fellow players.
Vostok, a Ukrainian development team made up of some of the GSC Game World devs that worked on the S.TA.L.K.E.R. series, has promised regular patch updates and feedback from the community will play its part "on everything from weapon balance to new ideas for Fear the Wolves’ unique weather and PvE systems".
So far, a new mode, gameplay features like leaning and crawling, more weapons, items, mutants, and weather have been added to the Early Access version of the game - ahead of its full release in 2019.
