Hogwarts Legacy: Hufflepuff Common Room Showcase

The first image that greeted me was a top-down shot of a cosy, almost elvish room. The beautiful synergy of earthy colours and arched shapes brought a sense of peace and tranquillity, only enhanced further by numerous plants. The more shots panned throughout the common room, the more excited I got about it — it was evident that nature had inspired the design for this room, and I was all for it. 

My favourite shot is when the camera positions itself behind the character, showcasing the room around them; the overall design and structure of the common room felt a lot like a house. It made me think of one of my favourite Hufflepuff traits — that we are welcoming. Our Hogwarts house is more like a home to all who need it. 

There are no words to describe how happy and satisfied I am with what the developer has done with it! Perhaps the room isn't what I imagined, as I had pictured it might be similar to the Gryffindor one, except more yellow. But, scarily enough, everything about it — the soft colours, the gentle curves, and the elvish touch — resemble what my style of decor is.

I believe so. I think it's no coincidence I felt at home whilst watching the video —  not because I identify with the house, but because the room itself invited me in. I believe many others who see themselves reflected in the Hufflepuff values will be happy to see a common room that inspires happiness and tranquillity. I mean, we need somewhere to go after all that hard work and loyalty!
