Hogwarts Legacy Ultrawide Support

Ultrawide gaming is becoming one of the most famous gaming niches, as users are taking advantage of 21:9, 32:9, and even 48:9 resolutions. Although not all games have taken to supporting the resolutions, we are seeing more and more companies paying attention to ultrawide's popular demand. Here is everything we know about the ultrawide support for Hogwarts Legacy!
Hogwarts Legacy
If you're dying to explore the brand-new Harry Potter game inspired by J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World in ultrawide, we have good news! Wizards and witches will be able to explore this open-world RPG — including famous places such as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Hogsmeade, the Dark Forest, and more — with ultrawide support!
The ultrawide resolution is supported, with 32:9 and 21:9 included, though we have not tested it with 48:9. With an FOV slider, you'll be able to adjust how much you see, though there are no HUD changing options.
That said, not everything is going to be great news — although you'll be able to engage in Wizarding World exploration, cast magic spells, and engage in Hogwarts Legacy gameplay, you won't be able to see the cinematics in ultrawide. There are black bars at either side of the cinematics that block the screen to 16:9, but most things will work in ultrawide resolution overall.
Strangely enough, not all cinematics are blocked by the black bars, as those from the in-game engine (such as one early in the game featuring knights) do work with ultrawide resolutions. This is great news, as ultrawide resolutions often excel in action RPG titles and fantasy games to really engulf you in the world.
