Looking to lose yourself?

Our generations are lucky to have existed just a bit after gaming was born so we could watch it grow into the behemoth it is! One of the best and latest inventions has been the ability to step into virtual reality and experience games much more closely! This is why, today, we bring you some of our favourite VR titles! In no particular order, let's begin with…
#1 — Skyrim VR
There's nothing like exploring dungeons, battling epic monsters, and carrying more loot than your weight capacity; it's not really surprising most people wrack up to 100 hours in Skyrim without even finishing it (me being one of them). Now add a VR headset, and suddenly, the experience is downright magical! No words can describe the immersion of being taken back to medieval times, so if you're a fan of The Elder Scrolls V, this is a no-brainer, and if you've never tried it, this is also a no-brainer!

#2 — Elite Dangerous
Moving to the other side of the spectrum, we've got Elite Dangerous, where you'll be commandeering spaceships and exploring the vastness of space! It's no surprise it's been described as "mind-blowing" and "extraordinary"! This is the closest most of us will ever get to experiencing outer space.

#3 — Subnautica
Yet another example of the wonders of VR is Subnautica, where you'll get to explore the alien ocean and experience horrors without any danger! Who cares that my Oxygen is running low? I WANT TO LOOK AT THE FISH!

#4 — SUPERHOT VR
Hi [BLOG_READER_NAME_HERE], you have to check out this game. It’s the most innovative shooter I’ve played in years! SUPER. HOT! An iconic and innovative shooter that mixes bullet time with fast-paced gameplay, it’s uncanny how interesting it feels to join the system and defeat enemies. If you enjoyed it on the flat screen (or haven’t even tried it yet), then we couldn’t recommend SUPERHOT VR more!

#5 — Pixel Ripped 1989
This title is different from the others — you won't be exploring an alien planet or Matrix-dodging in it; instead, you'll be saving the world by playing a video game... inside a video game! Troll the teacher to distract her, take out your handheld at terrible times, and uncover the interesting and colourful story in Pixel Ripped!

#6 — Angry Birds: Isle of Pigs
Angry Birds' formula works well on the phone to spend some time relaxing, but on VR, it's downright satisfying! You don't get to shoot or throw things in real life without risking a broken lamp, so it feels great to cause chaos in VR!

#7 — Arizona Sunshine
There is an enormous market for zombie titles, especially thanks to The Walking Dead. But a lot of them stand out for being special, and Arizona Sunshine is one of them — not only are the undead much more terrifying in virtual reality, but you can join up with up to three friends!

#8 — Accounting+
Straying from cool or terrifying experiences, we have Accounting+! For some, gaming is about goofing off and laughing, and this is a great title to do that with! From the trailer to the Steam description, this game is bursting with comedy! And don't worry, you won't actually have to do any accounting.

#9 — Assetto Corsa
Jumping back into the cool category, we've got Assetto Corsa — a realistic (and drop-dead gorgeous) racing simulation title! If you really want to pump your brain with adrenaline, there are fewer choices better than tricking it into thinking you're going at terrifying speeds!

#10 — The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets
And finally, we've got a charming and peaceful puzzle title where you'll spend your time exploring miniature worlds! Stay for as long as you want or until you've finished every challenge in the level, find hidden beauty in this handcrafted worlds, and unravel the heart-warming tale in The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets!

That’s it for our top 10! We hope you found at least a new title or two to jump into; VR is truly an experience!
