New Sonic Forces screenshots reveal customizable hero

SEGA has released brand new screenshots from Sonic Team’s upcoming game Sonic Forces, and they're looking rather tasty. They show the customisable Hero Character brandishing the newly revealed Drill Wispon to destroy enemies and speed through the Chemical Plant.
Wispons are an evolution of the Colour Powers from Sonic Colours and double as both offensive abilities and as a way to platform through levels quickly. In Sonic Forces, you get to equip your Hero Character with one of a variety of powerful Wispons, including the Drill Wispon, which lets you drill dash on the ground to quickly traverse stages and climb walls. Mess up your enemies big time by charging and launching a drill punch using your new piece of hardware.
