Hogwarts Legacy
Although I've been a big fan of the Harry Potter universe since I was a kid, I think one of my favourite things about it has always been the settings. Although casting magic is awesome, I oftentimes found myself dreaming about going to drink some butterbeer in Hogsmeade much more often than getting into any wizard duels!
As a quick disclaimer: I've not seen any of the confirmed places as I've been trying to avoid too many spoilers, so I may mention some areas that are already going to be in the game!
That being said, ever since I heard about Hogwarts Legacy, all I can think about is the places I'll be able to visit. So here are the five places I hope to see in the game!
#5 — King Cross Station - Platform 9 & 3/4
This might sound a bit strange, but I think starting off my Hogwarts experience by having to find the correct platform, ready up my trolly, and then run directly at a terrifying pace towards a brick wall is really going to kick off the game for me!
#4 — Gringotts
Although I visited it in real life many years ago at Disney, there's something about not having to wait in line with a bunch of sweaty and impatient people that will really make my day. Not to mention that I'll be able to actually go into my own vault (maybe)!
#3 — The Forbidden Forest
I can only assume this one is assured in the game, but it's definitely one of the cooler places I can't wait to see for myself! Many great scenes — like the one with a certain Expecto Patronum — happened there, and the forest is one of my favourite places.
#2 — Zonko's Joke Shop
I had to put Zonko's Joke Shop above the Forbidden Forest because there are few things I can imagine would be more exciting than going to a shop full of magical trinkets, toys, and pranks! If simple things like fart bags are hilarious in real life, imagine the glorious fun you could have with stuff from Zonko's Shop!
#1 — Hogsmeade
The place that takes the #1 spot for me is undoubtedly Hogsmeade! I have been obsessed with it since I first heard of it. There is something so magical and cosy about going to a village, drinking butterbeer, and hanging out for an afternoon! Sure, I won't get to actually drink butterbeer and feel the delicious cold of the snow, but at least I'll get to explore the beautiful village!
