The brand-new entry to the Warhammer 40K franchiseWarhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters — is coming out. You might be wondering what we really know about the upcoming game, and if it's for you. Well, here's everything we learned from numerous sources spread throughout the internet.

Story, Setting, & Graphics

Story, Setting, & Graphics

Take control of humanity's greatest weapon, the Grey Knights, and fight back the Bloom, an all-consuming essence that is corrupting all it comes into contact with. Lead a squad of the Grey Knights and take down the forces of evil.

Of course, as all Warhammer 40K games go, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters will take place in a fictional space world. Learn about the existence of the Grey Knights and experience a story written by Aaron Dembski-Bowden.

The game's pre-order trailer reveals Andy Serkis as the Grand Master Vardan Kai, as he and the Inquisitor converse about the threat.

We've teased plenty about the Grey Knights, but what exactly will you do while you're in charge of this mysterious and powerful group? Well, players will be able to build on their base of operations and research arcane mysteries in hopes of getting the upper hand against the Bloom.

This means that, when players aren't out battling Chaos itself and regaining control of the galaxy, they'll be upgrading their ship, building new facilities, and using the research table to further customise their playthrough. Pick which armaments your soldiers take into battle, and destroy the perilous scourge.

From the Gameplay Reveal Trailer, we've had the opportunity to look at four classes in-game: interceptor, apothecary, purgator, and justicar, each with their own weapons to take into the fray.

Best of all regarding combat, the game seemingly has interactable (and destructible) environments to use to your advantage; break walls to make a new path or bring down pillars on your enemies to crush them and make use of what is available to you.
