What's New and Old in Sonic Origins

First, we'll talk about all of the games that you'll get with your purchase of Sonic Origins. You're promised a total of four fully remastered games to play through, namely:

• Sonic the Hedgehog
• Sonic the Hedgehog 2
• Sonic 3 & Knuckles
• Sonic CD

These four classic games all have endured remasters to make the experience feel all-new. With them, you'll have well over a dozen zones to explore and play through. Although all of these games featured Sonic running rampant throughout the levels, Sonic Origins offers players the opportunity to play through them as either Sonic, Knuckles, or Tails! An addition I was happy for, seeing that I personally find Tails to be the cutest member of the Sonic cast.

Finally, the game will feature two modes for players to experience: Classic Mode and Anniversary. With these, players will have the opportunity to experience the four games in either the classic way — how they were built originally and how players experienced them — or the brand-new remasters. These are sure to offer both a different outlook of the game for newcomers, and a nostalgia trip for old-timers to experience.

Sonic Origins' release is imminent, and fans anxious to get their hands on it won't have to wait long because the compilation will be releasing on the 23rd of June.
