This is a very good, very basic RTS. It's solid. It's competently made, and it's fun. The only somewhat downside is it's a little on the simple side. The gameplay never gets too deep, but it's solid, and the theme alone is worth it if you like sci-fi. They took so many sci-fi references, stuck it in a blender, and hit puree. I recommend this game.

I really didn't think much of it but bought it anyway as it looked rather funny. Installed it then 5hr passed and I noted it was way better than I had first given credit. there were so many cool little inside jokes and the game was challenging. 100%. Now make a Build your own unit 'zombies, space pirates, cyber sheep?' and some DLC maps or factions.

Charming art style. A bit too basic, but fun for a little bit. This is 3 or 4 stars, but I'm rounding up. I bought two of the three 8-bit RTS games. They combine nicely, and I would for sure make Invaders be one you get for the extra game mode. If you get a second I'd say is just up to personal preference. They all combine together kinda like DLC. But it's one of the few fair DLC packages. I think 2 games was enough. Not really enough depth to this for a third. But I really do wish it had more depth! I would love to play in this style more! But it was fun for a week or so.
