Story oriented adventure faithful to original Poirot

Hercules Poirot is our player character, renowned detective who receives a letter from a mysterious murderer challenging him to solve the crimes.
Our assistant is Captain Hastings who will follow us throughout the game doing some side jobs for Poirot as well as giving his own opinions that aren't really helping to solve anything we have known already.
Story
4/5
It is a story oriented adventure with a repetition of certain tasks. Most of the gameplay includes dialogues with multiple choices, they matter as your subjects may either cooperate or lie. Their feelings are shown in the background. However, we can hear it clearly from the voices.
Replay value
3/5
Sometimes Hercules receives +1 ego point for slightly good answers, +3 if we manage to speak as if we were himself and +10 once we crack the puzzle. Oh yeah, can't forget about looking into the mirror on every new occasion. The points don't seem to be so important at the end.
While observing we can miss a detail that divides us from progressing in game. But as a matter of fact, every information is collected and then used for deduction and solving of a crime.
Graphics
4.5/5
Graphically nice, interesting zones where the crimes happen are guarded by police, more characters are introduced in the end with a final conclusion as in traditional style of film.
Gameplay
4/5
Some puzzles were annoying but the clue is available after a certain time again. That helps sometimes, maybe I missed some tiny object on the scene, or at the edge of the screen.
There are few items we will use throughout the game just for that one special time, mostly the keys that are obviously fitting to their respectively shaped holes.
Poirot is commenting on everything and we realize how he repeats himself over and over, thankfully he can be skipped. The voice-overs are well done, however some side characters had the same voice actors for main characters and it was obvious by much.
Observing a room or area of interest is often, as well as reading your subjects if their expressions and feelings are genuine while they're doing something. The observation or thinking is done during every puzzle as we try to figure out how it works and what it expects us to do. There's usually a clue around the object or in the area, very often, we need to turn the pieces or open another locked part of the object. They're just so complex.
Hardware requirements?
Not sure about this. The game ran smoothly at maxed 30 FPS. There were no options...

This detective exploration game, although fairly light on mechanics, is just a joy to play.

An excellent detective adventure-game, and the highpoint of Hercule Poirot-games.

Really chill and slow paced game. Some puzzles are dead simple and other require a real effort. Playing with a controller the pointer resets to the character if you move, so that makes the detective work rather dull at times. Worth a go at when on a good sale.

This to me is a run of the mill point and click.Puzzles and deduction aren't too tasking or really fun,at least for me.Graphically it looks like it came from an illustration book.So to sum up,boring, not good looking and tedious.
