About Alan Wake

About this game

From the minds at Remedy Entertainment comes the survival horror game Alan Wake.

Find Your Wife

You play as Alan Wake, a writer who suffers from insomnia. When Alan's wife goes missing, he heads to Bright Falls, a small town in Washington, to look for her. Soon after arriving, Alan finds himself in the middle of a nightmare. The town is overrun by darkness, and shadowy creatures called the Taken are out to get him.

More Than Just Horror

Alan must use his wits and weapons to survive as he tries to find out what happened to his wife. Fight for your life as you try to survive in a nightmarish world where the line between reality and nightmare is blurred. As you explore the game's eerie landscapes, you'll need to use all your cunning and resourcefulness to survive.

Uncover The Mystery

With the help of his trusty flashlight and an unexpectedly trusted ally, Wake will unravel the mysteries of Bright Falls and confront his darkest nightmares.

"Though the camera can cause issues and the supernatural story that's more interested in asking questions than answering them, it's a tough game to put down once you've started....
