Puh, these older elder scrolls games... you either love 'em or you hate 'em and i seem to belong to the later category, sadly.
The original controls are a hot mess but you are allowed to remap them, yay! You start of near a beacon of light, talk to little goblin creatures (I didn't feel these conversations tbh, you answer and exit the discussion and are non the wiser as to their reaction) and eventually walk down one of the coridors. The one i chose led me down to a lava pit that had stone paths in it. i jumped down and struggled to find a way up on the other side. After killing a goblin in hand to hand combat and a weird green long-limbed creature on a ledge, i found a small button on a wall and hoped that it would help me get back out of the pit. Well, after walking over there and losing half of my health because not walking perfectly in the middle of the small path hurts you, my character made a weird side step for some reason and fell into the lava, where she died because there was no way back up. The game then sent me back to the loading screen to start all over because there was no excisting save-file.
No idea why these old elder scrolls games are such a mess in regards to gameplay but this is another game of the series i won't touch again.
