"The wait was worth it. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a whole new castle to crash full of unexpected monsters and mysteries in the vein of classic Castlevania."

"Bloodstained: ROTN faithfully recreates the metroidvania experience of the 2000s—a feast for fans of a very specific experience; a bit too old-fashioned for anyone else."

"Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is as close to perfect as fans of metroidvania games could hope for. Exploration is absolutely a blast; the enemies are as enjoyable to kill...

Clunky repetitive combat combined with poor hit boxes so the enemy hits you easily but you constantly miss. Vastly inconsistent progression of enemy difficulty. There were multiples times I had to turn to a guide because I could not figure out what to do next after retreading the entire map. Graphics look nice but this was not an enjoyable experience overall.

A solid and great Metroidvania, from the man that brought you Castlevania Symphony of the Night. With regular updates and many additions for extra replayability. It's awesome.

Bloodstained is a 'Metrovania' title where new legends can be written. If you like this genre, I definitely recommend giving it a try. Although there are some bugs and errors due to 3D graphics rather than 2D, it is a game that guarantees the excitement and fun that I felt when I was catching Dracula. It's a pity, though, that it still hasn't surpassed Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. If you are looking for a classic bloodstained game, I recommend the 'bloodstained: curse of the moon' series.

First I will say I did not buy it through fanatical. I love this game. I've bought it multiple times both for myself and friends. Still being updated with multiple different game play modes and other playable characters. Many many hours of enjoyable gameplay to be had. Also who doesn't love being able to change the color of blood on screen
