Wonderful Zelda-like action-adventure game for people who don't own a console and can't play Zelda. Spiced up with some DarkSouls gameplay elements and a main character which looks like Hallow Knight. With the main focus definitely on platforming. Well, that's a lot mixed into, but it works perfectly fine. Not without it flaws ofc. But what game is? I would give it a solid 6/10. Pros: 1.) Level design and overall gameworld 2.) Soundtrack and sound effects 3.) A lot of -fun to use- movement abilities 4.) Great and challenging platforming parts, especially in the DLC 5.) Free, big, DLCs and upgrades! You can't mention something like that often enough these days with all those absolutely trash and useless micro-DLCs or cut-out content DLCs in most of the games Neutral: 1.) The story is very generic and i think the lost a lot of potential there 2.) Because the main focus is on platforming, combat falls a bit short. Don'T get me wrong, combat is kind of fun. You can parry, dodge and use your movement abilities. But there aren't many parts where you really have to fight and a lot of monsters are just lurking over abit, where you can't use anything from the above. That sucks. Cons: 1.) Boss fights. Meh. Just meh. The first ones are extremley easy and the later ones all over a bit, so you can't use all of your awesome fighting abilities. Really weird gamedesign. 2.) Platforming would be sooooo great, but the camara just makes it akward too many times. Just give us the option to put the camara more in the back, so you actually can see where you are jumping. One of the most important things in any platformer is the camara. Yikes! Conclusio: So overall, a great Zelda clone with just enough uniqueness to separate it. If it weren't for this terrible camera at times, it would have jumped onto my top tier list of platformer games. So it's just a little bit bellow that. If you can get your hands on it and like the genre, you can't go wrong here. At full price and definitely on sale.

Some people clearly hate the difficulty in this. And sure, It's a very skill oriented game, yeah. But that's the beauty of it. It's so challenging. It's very similar to Hollow Knight and I love it. The atmosphere is truly beautiful in my eyes. Even the story just felt interesting to explore. The world is beautiful. Each area looks great. I truly enjoyed even the sound design of this. Honestly: The soundtrack of this gem is nice. Collecting weapons, outfits, spirits... It's neat. Side quests are also quite lovely to complete. Took me almost 10 hours to finish this game. Parkour challenges in the void are also great. It's just a bunch of awesomeness in my eyes. Clearly inspired by Zelda, Dark Souls and etc. But the main inspiration is the Hollow Knight. It's obvious when you play through this gem. The developers really put a lot of love into it. I honestly love this game, It is a hidden gem. Such a dope game, I do wish to see a sequel. Honestly: I absolutely have to recommend it. Yea, I truly do hope for a sequel to be made. This game definitely deserves it. It's perfect. It deserves a huge positive review from me.

Blue Fire was a lot of fun to play. It's an explorative adventure mixed with a hard-as-nails platformer. It feels like a mixture between 3D zelda games and Hollow Knight. It's not a long game, and the combat is a little iffy, but for the most part I really enjoyed it.

Good fun little mix between a 3D platformer and Hollow Knight, with a lot of inspiration thematically from souls-games. Really fun and quirky.
