If you've played the first game and wanted more of the same, this is it!
They've not changed the combat as far as I can tell (and that's a good thing!); it is still fast, fun and telegraphed.
This telegraphing puts the game on the easier side I'd say, though some visual effects can block your view for quite a long time which I think is a bit unfortunate. Overall, the game loop is fun; killing stuff, looting, upgrading!
The game's world is huge, helllluva lot of dungeons to explore and treasure to find, including secrets!! Dungeons are varied and fun to clear!
The biggest addition is local co-op, you can enjoy the game with your other half or whomever you wish!
4 stars because the AI feels a bit like a slapped on feature when playing solo (the AI is swapped to player 2 if playing in co-op)
A fantastic action RPG for anyone who likes the genre and is maybe looking for a slightly more relaxed experience!

Fantastic RPG. For an action RPG, there is a refreshingly surprising amount of story and dialogue. Much of it is cheesey dad jokes and animal puns, but that's part of the charm. Don't let the cartoony facade fool you though. The game has plenty of fun and challenging combat. And this time you get a dog as part of your party!
