Not your normal platformer. It's not done just well, but it's done RIGHT.

I've seen Crumble on Steam for a couple years now, and just assumed it was your typical 'I'll play this three times' platformer game... pretty visuals but clumsy mechanics. I WAS WRONG. So not only are the graphics beautiful, but the mechanics of the game are great, meaning both the camera, controls, and responsiveness of the controls. They're all really, really good. Also, the p[hysics in this game are done so well that I immediately regretted not getting this two years ago. It's not just fun, it's fun done right, and I've already lost quite a bit of time to this game. QUITE. A. BIT. Don't miss out like I did, you'll regret it too.

I had a ton of fun with this game. At first, I thought that the game's mechanics were a bit annoying but once you actually get used to how the mechanics work, it can be addictive to try to get the fastest time that you can. I really enjoyed my time with this game and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves to speedrun or just likes fast-paced gameplay.

Relaxing game when you just want to have some fun.

If Marvel's Venom had a little cousin that had his own platformer game, that would be it. Game is fun and relaxing, especially on the Steam Deck. The physics are on spot and the game feels fluid.

This speedy platformer was initially a ton of fun for me. With just two action buttons, jump and swing, you whiz through fun environments, trying to get to the end of each level as fast as possible without falling off the platforms. It takes a lot of fine control to time your jumps, manage your speed, and maintain balance, and I'm sure that people who are into this genre of platformer will have a lot of fun with it. However, for someone like me who doesn't seek out these games often, it's less friendly as the game goes on. As the levels get more challenging, it felt less like I was growing alongside it, and more like I was becoming dumber by the second, as some levels felt nearly impossible to finish within the time that they expected to get a gold star. I did finish all of the main levels, but I know there were points where what I was likely "supposed" to do felt impossible, and the ways I got around that were clearly not what the game intended. Clearly, the game wants you to keep replaying levels over and over to improve your time and perfect your skills, but it's not the sort of game where I personally found replaying it to be fun. Instead, it felt frustrating. And I don't think the game is genuinely bad because of any of this -- I'm sure some people have the opposite of my experience, and I'm happy for them. But I can't really recommend the game, as by the end, I was not having any of the fun that I started with.

Pretty fun to jump and swing around, and I'm a fan of playing as a slime, but no story so it gets boring quickly. I would recommend if you like casual games to just mess around with.
