This speedy platformer was initially a ton of fun for me. With just two action buttons, jump and swing, you whiz through fun environments, trying to get to the end of each level as fast as possible without falling off the platforms. It takes a lot of fine control to time your jumps, manage your speed, and maintain balance, and I'm sure that people who are into this genre of platformer will have a lot of fun with it.
However, for someone like me who doesn't seek out these games often, it's less friendly as the game goes on. As the levels get more challenging, it felt less like I was growing alongside it, and more like I was becoming dumber by the second, as some levels felt nearly impossible to finish within the time that they expected to get a gold star. I did finish all of the main levels, but I know there were points where what I was likely "supposed" to do felt impossible, and the ways I got around that were clearly not what the game intended.
Clearly, the game wants you to keep replaying levels over and over to improve your time and perfect your skills, but it's not the sort of game where I personally found replaying it to be fun. Instead, it felt frustrating. And I don't think the game is genuinely bad because of any of this -- I'm sure some people have the opposite of my experience, and I'm happy for them. But I can't really recommend the game, as by the end, I was not having any of the fun that I started with.
