About DEATHLOOP

About this game

Get your DEATHLOOP Steam PC key now to experience this FPS title by Arkane Lyon, the team behind Dishonored, in which you’ll play as Colt, a man stuck on the island of Blackreef repeating the same day for eternity. It is up to you to find a way to break the loop and free Colt.

Roguelike Gameplay

Every time you complete a day or die on Blackreef, the day will reset, and Colt will retain all memories — to find a way to escape Blackreef, you’ll have to explore the ever-looping island in search of information on how to break the loop. Information is your strongest ally, as you’ll need to learn how to manoeuvre around the island in order to slay as many Visionaries as you can.

Break the Loop…

How to break the loop? This is the question that you, as Colt, must answer so you may finally be free. You’ll be in charge of killing the eight visionaries — Charlie, Fia, Frank, Julianna, Harriet, Egor, Aleksis, and Wenjie — all in the span of one day. How you do it, is what you will learn with every new death. And once you know, it’ll be up to you to formulate the right strategy.

Or Protect the Loop

Invade other players’ worlds, as you’ll be able to play as Julianna and ensure that you protect the loop at all costs. Foil Colt’s plan to break the loop by killing him as many times as it takes to force him to concede. Earn numerous levelling-up rewards that will empower your Julianna and unlock some of the best tiers to protect the loop.

Steam Deck Compatibility

Take the loop that has befallen Blackreef with you on the go, as DEATHLOOP is a Steam Deck Verified title! Now you get to explore the island and play wherever you need to leave the comfort of your home, and plug back in to play once again on the PC!

Good enough game on it's own, but the story is too vague and the endings do nothing to explain or expand anything. Should've been a much cheaper title, with clearer marketing what they were trying to achieve.

Would be a decent game with it's flaws, but ultimately I have an easy to reproduce crash, I've seen others on the Steam forums complain about a similar/the same crash and Arkane said nothing about it for now close to three weeks. For that alone I obviously cannot recommend the game and I definitely feel buyer's remorse with this one.

I don't understand all the high praise this game got. I think it's quite decent, and nothing more. The concept of a "Deathloop" is definitely a creative and original Idea - I'll give them that - however, the gameplay gets super repetitive after the first 2 ingame days. The fact they're only 4 maps doesn't help either. Over all, it's a good, if repetitive game. I still recommend it, but only during sale. And no, it's NOT a 10/10. At least not for me. 6/10

The game is wonderful, but not for everybody. Or even a professional. In general, this is a typical Arcane. Incredibly beautiful locations and general style. Scraps, lore, intricate shooter mechanics and abilities.

It's a cool game that (subjectively) combines the good parts of Arcane games without the bad parts. Good gameplay, nice implementation of rogue-like/lite systems, good story, good audio-visual work. Very little to complain about apart from performance instability, but even on my system which seems to be partially below min spec I was able to get near-stable 50 fps.

If you like Bethesda games then you would like this game, it has very strong elements of Dishonored but in a different world. It can get a little repetitive at times but overall I really enjoyed it

This game is quite good. It has some elements, such as powers (which are slabs in Deathloop) from the Dishonored franchise, however I found it quite disappointing that only two slabs (aside from 3rd slab which cannot be changed) can be equipped and cannot be changed during gameplay. Power works very similar to power in Dishonored Death to the Outsider, in which all power regenerates in a certain time period. The game gives you plenty of options, you can play it like a stealth game or an FPS action game and it doesn’t punish you for choosing either of these options. There are also many weapons to choose from so you have as many options as in Dishonored games if not more. There are only 4 maps and you have to play each map several times in different time periods, so the game could get a bit repetitive at times. Despite these minor flaws the game is very innovative and unique and that is why I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys stealth games or FPS games.
