About Dishonored - Definitive Edition

About this game

Experience the definitive Dishonored collection. This complete compilation includes Dishonored, winner of over 100 Game of Year awards, as well as all of its additional content - Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches, and Void Walker’s Arsenal.

Developed by Arkane Studios, Edge Online’s 2012 Studio of the Year, Dishonored is an immersive first-person action game that casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. With Dishonored’s flexible combat system, creatively eliminate your targets as you combine the supernatural abilities, weapons, and unusual gadgets at your disposal. Pursue your enemies under the cover of darkness or ruthlessly attack them head-on with weapons drawn. The outcome of each mission plays out based on the choices you make.

DLC Included:

The Knife of Dunwall

In The Knife of Dunwall, take on the role of Daud, the legendary assassin who killed the Empress. After assassinating the Empress, and forever changing the fate of Dunwall, you embark on a search for redemption. Gain access to Daud’s new weapons, gadgets, and supernatural abilities as you traverse through parts of Dunwall yet unseen, including the city’s whaling center, Rothwild Slaughterhouse, and the heavily guarded Legal District.

The Brigmore Witches

Continue your journey as the legendary assassin, Daud, in The Brigmore Witches. This conclusion to Daud’s story will put you at odds with warring gang factions and the dangerous Brigmore witch coven. Journey through undiscovered locales within Dunwall, including Drapers Ward and the Brigmore Manor, where you will be met with supernatural forces that test the limits of your new weapons and abilities.

Dunwall City Trials

In Dunwall City Trials, experience Dishonored’s flexible combat system, stealth gameplay, and distinct settings in a whole new way as you make your way through 10 distinct maps that feature a variety of challenges. Put your stealth, combat, and mobility skills to the test as you clear demanding objectives, unlock new achievements and secrets, and climb up the global online leaderboards.

Void Walker’s Arsenal

With the Void Walker’s Arsenal add-on pack, gain access to four content bundles previously available only through pre-ordering Dishonored. These bundles offer unique character bonuses, additional bone charm slots, and more.

Critic Reviews

90 / 100
"It's a rare delight to play a game with such consistency of vision, its art design, level architecture, rulesets, storylines and writing all working in lockstep."
92 / 100
"A gorgeous, complex and slick assassination sim, with fascinating systems to play with and huge open levels to explore."
88 / 100
"The console versions of Dishonored have more graphical hiccups like framerate issues and screen tearing (especially on PS3). The textures look a little muddy no matter how you...

A must play game for anybody

This game might be seen short but it is enough for you to go back and play the main game again since there is many ways to complete the missions and also multiple endings. The DLCs that follows, for me, were very captivating. You follow a character and start to develop conflicted feelings about them. If you like a decent story, not too long game, exploration and stealth or high chaos games then what are you waiting for! - purchase it!

Really fun game - the stealth feels good, and there's lots of options to play around with. Art style is a bit of a mixed bag, but environmentally it's a gorgeous game. The character models are a bit weird, but this is a stylistic choice versus a technical one, so up to you how you feel about it.

The game's performance is great. No problems. The game play is something you must experience. There's lots of ways to play, on a spectrum from ghost stealth to none survive assault. The combat requires timing and dodging to survive. The powers in the game are unique and useful for many different styles of play, but they are not necessary for a skilled player. Likewise with your gadget which can be used in tandem with your powers. Exploration is highly rewarding and useful for stealth players. The difficulty is around a high-medium to a low-hard for an action game. You will not be able to win everything by wildly swinging your sword. However combat isn't necessary which lowers the difficulty. The story is quite good. While it is set to certain required moments. The way you play the game(how you complete side quest and how murderous you are)actually changes the levels and character moments in the game. The graphics are quite good. They are highly stylized and look great. The game will hold up much longer than a super realistic game. The game is older and it's age shows a little when you look close at textures and models. Sounds are great and convey everything you need to hear. Each sound is layered well and nothing sounds out of place. However the music is not particularly standout. More to elevate certain moments rather than be a soundtrack to your mischief.

This game is another bethesda masterpiece. Controls, feel and feel of the game are exactly what u would suspect out of a bethesda game. I played this game on the steam deck (linux) and the game just works without any changes
