About Dragon's Dogma 2

About this game

Head back to Capcom’s world with Dragon's Dogma 2.

The Enchanting World of Dragon's Dogma 2

Immerse yourself in Dragon's Dogma 2, a unique single-player action-RPG that offers a personalised gaming experience where you are the author of your own narrative. With advanced AI and state-of-the-art graphics, this sequel takes you on a grand adventure that expands upon the enthralling fantasy world of the original Dragon's Dogma. The game puts you in the shoes of the Arisen, and provides an opportunity to customise your character's vocation, appearance, and party. In this world, your decisions matter, influencing the way you approach situations and combat, thus making the gameplay experience truly your own. Throughout your journey, you'll be accompanied by Pawns, mysterious beings who enhance the immersion, making you feel part of a wider adventure even in your solitary quest.

Your Personalised Journey

The game allows you to shape your journey according to your preferences, starting from crafting the appearance and personality of your Arisen and Main Pawn. The sequel introduces the newly revealed Trickster vocation, adding another layer to the plethora of choices available for your character. This Arisen-exclusive vocation uses illusions to trick enemies and amplify the power of Pawns. The game also reintroduces the Warrior and Sorcerer vocations. Warriors excel in direct combat, making use of two-handed weapons, while Sorcerers wield powerful magick attacks that can turn the tide of battles. Your choices determine the course of your journey, creating a unique gaming experience that reflects your preferences and style.

Engage with Fierce Adversaries

The fantasy world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 is inhabited by a diverse range of monsters, each with their unique abilities and challenges. The digital event provided a glimpse of such adversaries, including the imposing Talos, a bronze golem capable of causing massive destruction, the Dullahan, a headless spectre with a deadly curved blade, and the Drake, a formidable dragon with potent flame attacks. Your engagement with these foes will require strategic use of your Vocation, Pawns, and terrain, adding a thrill to your exploration of this fantasy world. This combat system, combined with the rich narrative and customization options, makes Dragon's Dogma 2 a compelling action-RPG where every decision shapes your unique experience.

Don't buy this mess of a game, it unstable, stuttering and buggy. One character save with no way to delete but get guide online to delete files.Plus micro transaction.P.S if you get this (around release ) don't go in major city or town FPS will go to hell and be unplayable for most players...unless you got a high end pc.

Don't buy it yet, they really need to fix the performance and save systems first.

Game itself's great, but the optimization, some of the saving systems and the pathetic mtx cash grab attitude Capcom has suck pretty bad.

Can't recommend currently. Technical issues that get in the way and really stand out. The game is pretty, but it runs badly even on high end hardware. Seems to be entirely CPU limited and has wildly varied highs and lows FPS wise. Hopefully can be improved by patches. Gameplay is OK, sometimes really good. It's a lot like DD1. Limited enemies and a lot of repetition, but it's generally fun. Feels very outdated however in many other ways. There are microtransactions which are a bit on the nose, but you certainly don't need to purchase any, and Denuvo DRM if that bothers you. Wait for some patches to see if they manage to fix the performance and crashes, and then get it on sale.

Beside the MTX that Capcom shoot their foot with, the game is great. Combat is great. You can easily forget the time when playing DD2

Game runs like shit. Poorly optimized at launch like star wars jedi survivor and hogwarts legacy

Numerous bugs, poor optimization, greedy/shady MTX scheme, and Denuvo. Stay far away until more bugs are fixed, Denuvo is removed, and you can get it for a good deal.

Game's bad. Makes me sad. You're not my real dad.

TarzGG
Runs like a dog without legs even on a 7800X3D, RTX4080 and 32GB DDR5 at 1440p without RT on. The game is full of bugs, the graphics are a mixed bag and the design choices including only having one save and one character at any time are absurd. Do yourself a favour and learn from my financial sacrifice to my fellow gamers. I took one for the team so you don't have to.

Amazing game! If you loved the original Dragon's Dogma, then you will love this game. The game is getting bashed because it has unneeded mircotransactions, but you can get everything in game. I had everything that can be purchased in my first few hours. I am also not experiencing any slow downs in cities, as reported by others. Game runs amazing, has the best combat around, and is an overall great game. I haven't had this much fun since Elden Ring.
