I was torn on this one but ultimately cannot recommend it.
The beginning is quite nice, the island looks pretty but is sadly just as empty as the other Bodur games I have played up until this point. There was an effort to add a few animals, though. The houses are very empty, even the one you can enter is just bare, without floor even.
I kinda liked the voiceacting, it's a female with an accent that I personally found very soothing to listen to. I would have liked subtitles though, as it was hard to understand her at times, often because of the very loud music that accompanied her lines. The music, while somewhat good was VERY annoying after a while. It is only sporadic and chimed in at checkpoints, during the voice over and towards the end, moments in between are silent. I also struggled to follow the "story", as most of the voice over parts had no connection to the scenery you pass but are very specific and feel like you should be able to somewhere see what is mentioned (a rider on the hill and stuff like that).
The world, while quite pretty in the beginning is ruined by the extremely blurry background (????), stone structures that are almost transparent and look liquid (????) and very, very bare mountain environment in the end.
There were moments in which I really enjoyed walking through this game but the weird, nonexistent story, music and weird lanscape ruined it for me. I liked "Drizzlepach" better than "Chionophile" and "Bottle" though.
Also, seeing that it takes at most 20 minutes to complete the game, the price is too high in my opinion.
