About ELDEN RING

About this game

Elden Ring has won Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2022!

ELDEN RING is an award-winning title even before its release; as the proud holder of 2020 and 2021's Most Anticipated Game title in The Game Awards and numerous others, along with a rating of 95 on Metacritic, ELDEN RING needs little introduction.

A title built by FromSoftware, explore the soulslike genre in a brand-new setting with ELDEN RING's innovative open-world map and FromSoftware's titular difficulty; fans of the soulslike genre should not miss this one. Along with that, the game's open-world setting gives for numerous entry points and works as a perfect candidate to get newcomers started on the infamous genre.

Explore the Lands Between

Ride atop Torrent — the brand-new steed and main form of travel — and relish on the Lands Between. Explore five unique regions, each filled with unique mobs to overcome, plenty of dungeons to venture into, and countless bosses to defeat. No matter where you look and what you do, the Lands Between has something for you to uncover.

Exciting Soulslike Combat

Experience FromSoftware's titular soulslike combat unlike never before. Charge head-on with heavy armour that is impenetrable to most blades, cast magic from afar, or even run in nearly naked; the options are endless. Choose from 10 different classes, each with intended builds that will offer a unique experience, and fight as a mage, a faith caster, a quick fighter, or a heavy brute; the choice is yours.

Fight Gargantuan Bosses

The Lands Between doesn't come without its perilous bosses famous to the soulslike franchise. Every corner is a potential arena, and you never know when you will encounter one of the 100+ bosses to face. Fight grafted monstrosities, dragons, and even the strongest FromSoftware boss yet — Malenia, Blade of Miquella. Each triumph is a glory to behold, and each encounter is as unique as the last.

Tackle Bosses with Friends or Battle Other Players

Join co-op parties to help other players face the toughest of bosses, or test your mettle against other players in ELDEN RING's co-op. Suffer the invasion of other players that will try to foil your experience and prove your worth against their blade; may the best Tarnished survive. The difficulty and fun never end with the game's co-op experience.

Enjoy Soulslike At Its Best

2022's runner-up for Game of the Year, ELDEN RING is the soulslike genre at its best. FromSoftware's difficulty continues skyrocketing, but so do the scores, as it is the company's best-rated game yet. Both veterans and newcomers to the genre are sure to enjoy each gruelling minute to survive in the Lands Between.

I really like this game, I also hate it but the both together are why it's great. Here's my review: I beat Margit this morning but man this castle sucks. This is a prime example of how brilliant and excruciating this game can be. You're thinking: "Nice! I'm getting good." So you run in there and get past a few guys and then you get blasted. You've learned a little, you go back and get a bit farther and get REALLY blasted. Again, you're thinking, "OK. I've got this, now." But by this point you're still thinking about passing that spot you got obliterated at and subsequently die 10 feet from the respawn point and lose all your runes. At this point it's basically, "Well, F@#$, at least now I'm not worried about runes, since they're gone." You proceed to get owned repeatedly by guys you should crush because you're still subconsciously super-pissed about your runes.

Amazing game, massive game. Would recommend going in blind, don't look up things unless you really really need to. This game will take 100 odd hours to beat, and that's just one playthrough. The difficulty feels fair.

I'm not great at Souls games and I'm only 12 hours in, but Elden Ring has already been a ton of fun. The freedom of the open world makes the game a lot more accessible to players like me while still maintaining the classic difficulty of the Souls genre. Do recommend.

The level of pain I felt playing this (my first "souls" game) has left suffering night terrors due the the PTSD it caused. The scenery is beautiful if you can get past the incredible monsters that are all hell-bent on your extermination. Don't be discouraged, though. The tutorial is very thorough and useful to new players.

This is basically another souls game. So if you hate those, don't get this game. Now it is not exactly a souls game, there are differences but basically the same in that there is only one difficulty, hard and only gets harder as the game progresses. I'm not a souls player, but I do like this game. Just had to expect to die more then succeed and it's not so bad. I've come to find more challenging things are more rewarding to accomplish so I'm gonna try to complete this game.

I love the game! I have seen some graphics issue and some general fps drops but all in all I've really been enjoying it. I think once it gets more optimizations for PC it will be yet another banger.
