About Fallout 4

About this game

Developed and published by Bethesda.

In Fallout 4, the world has fallen into a deadly, barren state after the war culminated in nuclear bombs. Now, as the sole survivor from your vault — Vault 111 — you venture off into the wasteland to find out who took your son while you were in a sleep pod.

Explore the Vast World

Fallout 4 offers a huge open world to explore, teeming with characters, quests, and locations to explore! Whether you spend your time killing ghouls and super mutants to steal their loot or you're off with one of the many factions finishing quests for them, you'll always have something to do!

It's All You!

Your character is yours to make! Create and customise them, from their gender and appearance to their S.P.E.C.I.A.L.! Choose their strengths and weaknesses, name them, and head off to experience their tragic story!

Perks and Skills

Aside from customising your vault dweller, you'll also gain experience throughout your time in the wastelands. These will give you some points you can spend on perks to even further customise in this vast RPG!

Guns and Ammo

Whether you use a normal gun or a plasma one is up to you! Find all sorts of fun weapons scattered throughout these dangerous lands: from rifles and shotguns to plasma weapons, grenades, and missile launchers!

Friends Along the Way

During your journey in Fallout 4, you'll meet all kinds of characters. Some of them will be touched by your story and want to join you; you'll find robots, ghouls, and normal people will all be willing to lend you a hand!

And Then...

Maybe along the long, arduous journey, your companionship will become more than just adventuring! Some of the companions are romanceable, meaning you can make them yours!

Tourist Attraction

Although the bombs did away with most of the natural beauty of Earth, you'll still find some amazing things in this new place. Mutated animals, strange plants, glowing water, and tons of radioactive areas are all in store for you!

Look Out For Your People

Collect items throughout your journey to build up settlements for the people of the Commonwealth or even just to spruce up your home! From these seemingly random items, you'll make proper crafting materials to make anything from homes to weapons, armour, chemicals, and food!

Steam Deck

Last but not least, Fallout 4 is playable on the Steam Deck, meaning your journey through the wasteland never has to end!

This game is just what I needed to play. It's not Call of Duty. It's survival without the horror, it's a shooter also. The map is enormous, and there are many difficulty levels to choose from. You can follow the main quests you can do the side quests and you can just roam around. You can play by yourself, you can play with a companion, lots of choices. Highly recommended

Destruction and creation in the same game. Exterminate one day and then rebuild society the next.

If you've ever wanted to experience living in a post-apocalyptical world, without the messy radiation sickness and global destruction doing so in real life would entail, then this game is for you. Not only can you walk the wasteland and combat irradiated mutants and the devolved dregs of humanity, but you can also rebuild small pockets of civilization by designing and constructing your own settlements. With the addition of mods, this game can endlessly be augments, altered, and extended.

A wonderfully realised and vibrant world, full of interesting things to do. Deep RPG customisation options allow you to play the way you want. The VATS targeting system is a blast. Have already sunk over 100 hours into this game and have no intention of slowing down.

I have always enjoyed the Fallout series and Fallout 4 did not disappoint. There was a bit more farming than I expected but it fits into the game progression and mechanics well. Beautiful graphics. Character voices are choppy and sentences overlap, this could be due to my machine settings.

Good RPG with a massive world and great quests. Even if it isn't as good of an RPG as the previous entries, Fallout 4 is great at some other aspects the older entries lacked and will certainly give you enough fun for hours on end!

Fallout 4 is a masterpiece for the series. The story is intense, the game-play is fantastic, and the visuals are surreal. What's more is that I can promise you that you'll be hooked within the first 10 minutes (max) of booting up. I can't think of another game that pulls you in so quickly, and each minute of the game pulls you in more and more. It's just one of those games that will not let you go. One final note, really explore the hell out of the game. It is absolutely jam packed with stuff to explore, and none of it is filler. Everything is so masterfully put together that you'll enjoy every inch of it.
