I am enjoying some quality far cry content. Lots of guns to unlock. Wing suits are fun. Haven't gotten to New Dawn yet because I want to play the stories chronologically.

I always wanted to play farcry 5 and new dawn. Amazing game loved both of them.

AMAZING game, but suffers from a lack of clear progression. It needs a sort of "objective marker" pointing you like "heres the main story quest" and needs to have what gets unlocked as rewards from liberating a location or facility hinted at so you know if its worth you going there i guess? like an airfield you think 'great an aircraft thats what i need' or a petrol station you think "cool i'll get a new car" so you race over.. but a taxidermist or a prison? you will be like eh i can do those quests later. If you wanted to speed run the game you wouldnt know where to go or how to even begin! lots of the quests and challenges feel taking away from the action and situation and story not progress plot much. It doesnt ramp up and become more intense with more rewards. you start the game you go jump in attack helicopter = the end. you run around get best weapon and buy the best vehicle first or just steal them. And thats it jobs done boss. graphics are fantastic. its got good weapons and guns.. the deluxe version has some special space laser guns and other unusual things added in. But ultimately you just use the cool sci fi laser guns and the game gets way easier. its difficulty doesnt scale well at all because ambushes and strategically placed enemies with rocket launchers.. are well sliding the difficulty up or down doesnt remove the rocket launcher or the ambush location hiding place advantage. I really like it and recommend it but it loses much of its charm after a few days. quite the realistic setting scenario and plot.
