"An indie with a marvelous artistic department that lacks in terms of gameplay. It's a beautiful experience to see and hear but not so funny to play."

"Lone Sails is a transfixing, lovely experience, one that takes recurring indie game tropes and does something unique and fun with them. It's short enough that you could play...

I liked it. It's kind of a puzzle game with a couple of item management elements. You have a weird car that can use almost any item you pick up as fuel, along with the sails on your car. Every so often you will be blocked by something that requires a simple puzzle to solve to move on. More of an atmosphere than a game. If I had to compare it to something else, it might be Journey.

Fun short atmospheric game. A bit of replayability, you'll playthe game at least twice. Good immersion for a few hours if you let yourself dive into the game.

What can i say about = Far Lone sails, To be honest it is not a game i would of picked normally as i enjoy FPS games but this game has a charm that just grabs you by the scruff of the neck and pulls you in, Once you start playing you just have to complete it. The fact you are basically driving a steam engine across a barren landscape dotted with broken ships, wind turbines,Houses that a in ruins just adds to the playability. Even those that would never even play this type of game will enjoy it, It is like a puzzle game and a treasure hunt all in one. You pick up items that are in your path to keep your steam engine going to reach your final destination. You pick up random upgrades to help you along the way and the ending is a case of === Oh i want more. This is a game that has replayability but is short and sweet. I fully enjoyed playing it and nearly ended up forgetting to eat lol.

Overal a good game, a bit short, but enjoyable for the dollar i spent on it. Would've given it a extra star if the travel 9000 achievement wasn't bugged

You control an okomotive, a special tricycle that you must ride through the remains of a once thriving civilization. How far will you get? And what will you find? Although the environment, conditions and the okomotive itself change during the ride, it's pretty boring. The puzzles help a little, with the player venturing outside their machine to find a way to make it pass. Luckily the game isn't long, so I still recommend it. + environmental changes + changes in conditions + improving the okomotive + excellent music + nice graphics + almost no text (only menu and billboard) + puzzles - quite boring ! maximum 3 hours (supposedly it can be done in under 40 hours)

It's a short, well crafted game with nice environmental story telling. I got is for a low price and played through it over an evening. The puzzles are pretty simple. Don't expect great replay value, but at the price I think it's worth playing.
