Gloomhaven is an adaptation of the original board game by Isaac Childres. Set in a medieval dark fantasy universe, you'll battle through foes in tactical RPG combat, plan strategies, and problem-solve your way to victory.
Lead the way into adventure
Journey off into dangerous dungeons and dreadful forests and caves to loot the rewards and complete quests... or die trying.
Where is your morality?
Many are out to hire you — from city officials to very corrupt cultists. It's up to you to decide where you'll draw the line and to who you'll offer your services. There are a total of 95 story missions; will you remain moral through it all?
Many combinations
With 17 unique characters, each with their unique skills and over 1,000 abilities to master, you'll have plenty of mixing and matching to do in your 2 to 4 band of mercenaries.
Level up!
If all those skills and characters aren't enough, you'll also have enhancements and perks in addition to the level-ups and newly-acquired equipment!

I do enjoy the core story and that you need to work your way back up with certain classes. Animations are a bit basic but there isn't need for anything fancy.

Really well done digital version of the board game. This is the best rendition of a tabletop into an online version I have seen.
As you probably know, nothing beats the tabletop. But, Gloomhaven Digital is not only a great alternative on the days everyone can not get together, but really stands out with its own excellence of graphics, narration, and served on a plate gameplay.

Very strong adaptation of the original board game, with an informative tutorial to help get you through the finer points.
The biggest drawback is that there isn't much of a tutorial for multiplayer, so if you're buying this game to jump right into playing with friends, you might have a rocky time.
