I didn't bother playing the story mode because I dislike all the protagonists, so this review is for the online sandbox only.
The Good
- Decent character creator and a ton of outfits in the shop that helps to make your character unique.
- Huge map that really feel lived in.
- Good variety of cars and weapons.
- Businesses and challenges around the map give a bit of purpose to the carnage.
- Most NPCs have entitled shitty attitudes. This is good because if they were nice, I'd feel bad for murdering them, but as it stands, it's an absolute pleasure.
The Bad
- The community are mostly toxic a-holes. On top of that hackers and modders are rife, and go out of their way to spoil your game and try to get you banned. For this reason you will often be server hopping to avoid these losers.
- You will visibly age with how long the game takes to load.
- The flying motorbike (I forget what it's called) is OP and somewhat ruins the game.

I feel that my Review Title sums it up, but GTA V is a hectic, hilarious and enjoyable ride from start to finish. Not only do you have a huge open-world map to explore, you'll also get to experience three campaigns simultaneously - switching between each character whenever you feel like it.
And then there's GTA Online, which opens up so much more content and allows you to create your own character and rise through the ranks to afford those flashy cars, big guns and high-end penthouse suites.
Go clothes shopping, play golf, take part in multiplayer heists, help the economy by buying a drink at the strip club (but that's all, I swear) and much more in the wonderful world of Grand Theft Auto V. What's better, the Premium Online Edition also includes the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack (which includes $1m bonus cash for GTA Online) so you're already one step closer to making your wardrobe, or garage, sparkle!

Fun game equally enjoyable in the single player and online mode. We all know how fun smooshing pedestrians with shiny new stolen cars or going on a fast-paced mission to collect supplies for your totally legitimate business while avoiding cops can be, but what stands out to me is the quality and the attention to detail in the soundtrack and dialogue - from the fantastic voice acting to the volume of the music from the jukebox changing in different rooms of the clubhouse - immersive and highly enjoyable.
Online loading times and glitches/other players' behaviour cause a certain amount of frustration as you will often spend minutes loading only to be stupidly blown up by a trigger-happy player who seems to think they're playing CS and not GTA, or stuck in a glitch having to reload yet again, but generally it's a rich game where missions are varied, gameplay can be adjusted to personal interests and preferences up to a point, characters are memorable, and the views and sounds on long bike rides/drives are almost therapeutic. Fun!

It's GTA V, if you haven't played it by now you probably aren't going to after how many years and versions there have been. Graphics still look good even on older machines at lowered settings. Play the now classic story, or get griefed online.
