i thought it was very fun, it was mostly enjoyable with friends so i wouldn’t recommend the game for solo players. Very good graphically, pixelated but enjoyable to look at.

It's been a long time since I've played a fun log-like game. This is a game that makes you feel like you're playing an old masterpiece. I recommend the dot graphics that really let you go into the game.

I saw a lot of complaints about this game being too grindy when I picked it up and dismissed them, as I don't mind heavy grinding in games. The problem with the game isn't the very large amount of grinding it includes, but how empty the grinding feels. You need large amounts of uncommon resources, requiring a lot of time for little gain. And when you finally collect enough resources to unlock an upgrade, it's usually such a small upgrade the effects are hardly noticeable. The grinding would be fine if it were rewarding, but it just doesn't pay off. The small incremental bonuses you collect come far too slowly to feel like you've gained anything from them, and if it takes 2 hours to get a 2.5% increase to one stat in a game with large numbers of enemies that gain health and damage at a far faster rate than you, you're left with a boring slog of playing the same couple slow-paced maps for hours on end with no real sense of progress. Could be great if you don't have anything better to play and want to shut down while listening to a podcast or something, but I walked away disappointed and bored.
