Katana ZERO

This game is really good but it could for sure use some options to skip cutscenes that don't involve going to the main menu, which isn't to say the cutscenes aren't worth watching, but I dread speedrunning this game and having to sit through them every time.

great, speed run friendly game. only gripe is it ends with a cliffhanger but that just means a sequel later lol

One of my favorite games of all time. It has an amazing story, an amazing soundtrack, an amazing art style, really there's so much to love here.

Stylish story you progress through by slicing and dicing enemies, while controlling time to make your attacks as precise as possible. Banging soundtrack with futuristic sometimes lofi beats only add to the experience

Incredibly good game. Gameplay is fast, clean, and always is set on your improvement. Story is great, music is fantastic, visuals are sooooo good! Get this game, it is completely worth it!

Masterful game with beautiful presentation, great pixel-art, amazing soundtrack and good story. Katana zero is probably my favourite one-hit game out there, it feels slick. This is a strong reccomendation if you like Metal gear rising revengance, superhot or Hotline Miami.

Katana Zero is an excellent experience of a game—it's fast, smooth, and well-crafted. There's a reason it currently has a 98% recommendation rate with 51k reviews on Steam. It's the game I've gifted most copies of and one of my go-tos when recommending game experiences.

This is a high-octane action side scrolling swordplay game of tag. When you tag enemies or deflect bullets with your sword or throw paraphernalia at them, they turn into a gory mess. The enemies will knock out the player character in one hit too. I skipped the story because it is unfinished, unsubstantiated, and uninteresting. There is a little bit of time-wasting bloat like push button to drink tea and push button to go to sleep. Some characters ask you if you want to keep playing the game or not as well. The mentally unwell protagonist's psychiatrist is also his case officer for assassinating drug dealers, which involves the player exercising careful aggression on enemies unaware of your presence. He also prescribes a drug that gives clairvoyance, which translates to having the player slow down time during combat. Katana Zero will most likely take 1 or 2 days to finish. I recommend playing the game and skipping the story.
