In Kawaii Deathu Desu, supernatural beings find themselves incarnated as cute Japanese idols! Halfway between cute and terrifying, these hellish idols start a competition that spans the world with a singular goal; to decide who can claim the throne of the underworld. What type of competition will this be, however? As beings of the underworld, the next to inherit the throne will be determined by whoever can collect the most souls from faithful followers. With that in mind, as idols, there's no better way to victory than mowing your own fans at shows!
For fans of fast-paced beat'em ups, inspired by the likes of One Finger Death Punch, you'll feel right at home here. Pick a supernatural idol and beat the hell out of - no pun intended - as many overzealous fans as you can.

A really simple 2 button arcade game about anime "monster" girls fending off waves of enemies.
The entire game boils down to two simple things. Mash 2 buttons to fend off waves of guys and grinding[/1]. You start off with Death-chan on an easy level where you hit either left or right to attack the enemy on either side. This is now the gameplay loop for the entire game, but the later levels get harder as you go. You'd think this would be a good thing, but really they only get harder by spamming more enemies with more health at you. They become so fast and have so much HP that you have no choice but to level up the stats of your character.
Every time you finish a stage you get some souls as currency. These are used to buy new characters, level characters, and unlock skins. In reality though all you can really do is just spam level up Death-chan to try and keep up with the pace of the scaling difficulty and even then you will just have to farm stages over and over. It's cool that there's a lot of unlocks, but they don't actually mean anything. Each character is different...but not enough to actually make a difference.
The presentation is cute. The game isn't bad for an arcadey 2-3 minute experience, but it will get old fast. On sale it could be worth it for a few moments of fun with a cute aesthetic and actually surprisingly nice soundtrack.

The way it's described you'd think it was a traditional side scroling beat em up with music elements. Nope! Just press two buttons, die, upgrade. Rinse and repeat. It's a good thing it was in a bundle but I was totally disappointed.

A very simplistic but fun game. Basically you have to fend off enemies that are encroaching upon you from both sides. It can get rather hectic at points, but that's what makes it fun (at least to me!). The graphics and music are both very well done, in my opinion. For the low going rate, I'd say this is worth a pick-up if you're looking for something fun and fast-paced to play in short bursts.

Not a lot of complexity here. I was hoping for more of the One Finger Death Punch style game and it is. Well in its simplest form. You basically just attack left and right with no needed combo effects to finish enemies off. Nice pixel art, fun music, and very lite RPG elements. I got it in a bundle, I played it, I have not reloaded it but I do think of playing here and there.
