All these kingdom rush games are the same but thats not a bad thing.
Its fun, it's quirky, it's got extra challenge modes and Easter eggs.

If you're into Tower Defense games, this one is near the best of the lot. Easy to get into, but can get devilishly difficult at the later stages on the hardest difficulty. Worth every penny.

Great game with a good level of challenges. It is not an "easy" game but a challenging one. Sometime you must let some enemies goes through. It is well balanced for a tower defense. The graphics are quite nice and colorful. An easy choice if you like the genre.

Even if it has a lack of difficulty, level design is as original as always. Furthermore, the fact the tower system has changed has allowed the game to innovate with the defenses you can create . Also, the new enemies have really interesting mechanics, so it's worth giving this game a shot.
In addition to all of that, even if it's the last game released by Ironhide Game Studio, this game continues with the lore just after the end of the original Kingdom Rush.
Also, heroes are also really cool!
