not worth more than 5 dollars

gread idea but bad execution

The game is really something fresh; and inspired to story-driven games like "Life is Strange" probably; but here you get a very straightforward scenario, no mystery nor secrets. What start as great idea, end up falling flat on its face. The overall time you spend in this lake town is very short; the adventure is bite size, and you can complete it in few hours. But while the game is sold as story that can be changed by your choices, that is not entirely true. The actual changes the story has, based on your actions are irrelevant; and there is only one case where you make a choice that it really matter something. Beside that, the overall game loop is interesting, you are working as mailman/mailwoman; drive around delivering stuff, which is relaxing; but there is a big issue there: driving feel pretty bad. The city is a ghost town, few cars running around; no collisions damage; nobody really cared to put some efforts in something you do for 80% of the game (the remaining 20% is dialogues with multiple choices). There is no internal view, and you get in and out the truck with a fade to black screen; which really is unacceptable in these days. You drive, you talk to people, you end up doing some side missions and then go home, where you decide what to do in the evening; this is the game. If you expect a story driven game, this is not really it; unless you like short story with minimal replayability. The actions you do basically most of the game are driving and deliver mail; and they both feel really underwhelming, so you have to ask yourself why you want to spend full price on this game. For what it is, is not bad; it is just too short, rushed, with some bugs and with the main game loop that is very badly implemented. A disappointment because this game could be awesome if only the right people had the right implementation done for the main story and driving part.

Very chill. Very neat characters, multiple endings, immersive narrative and ambience. Too bad is a bit short.

So far i'm enjoying the laid back, stress free gameplay . The story, art design, soundtrack and weirdly the "mundane" task of delivering mail everyday are the things that keep me interested. I have ran into a few bugs but nothing that bothers me or affects my enjoyment of the game. Some more interactions whilst delivering mail and expressive characters would bump it up to 5 stars.for me.

It‘s better to think about this as a meditation than a game

Chilled and relaxed driving/walking simulator. It is a beautiful game about your values and purpose in life. Probably better for older/adult players. It can get very repetitive, that is actually what I like about this game. It is closer to a meditation about your goals than actually a game offering interesting gameplay. If that does bot scare you off you might enjoy this game a lot.
