About this game
Developed by Twelve Tiles and published by Degica.
Last Word is a unique JRPG set in a world where whoever gets the final statement in a debate or argument gains power over their opponent and is able to give them any one command to follow. Then, one day, famed Professor Chet Chatters stuns everyone with his new invention: a machine — aptly named The Mouth — that can cut off a conversation whenever it wants, speaking last by default in every debate. Using his gadget, he forces everyone to stay at the party until he says otherwise.
Words Not Fists
Battles work differently in this charming and bizarre JRPG — instead of swords and magic, you'll be using your own words to spar people; this is known as Discourse. Carefully navigate through every conversation to figure out the best counters to every argument, and see if you can get the last word.
Might As Well Drink!
Everyone is now stuck at the party, bound by the Professor's command. Since there's little else to do but drink and relax, you might as well! Take a moment to meet your fellow guests — all of who have hilariously punny names and colourful personalities to fit them!
Explore
Find clues, collect gossip, and amass enough Bow Ties and skills to stop The Mouth and allow everyone to leave the party. It's not so fun when you're forced to stay!
