Not a game for everyone, cause you will have to lose a few times to learn how to play, as reading tooltips does not pause the game. It is my kind of game, because I had considered it a challenge to improve my ability to understand the game as fast as I can, including to understand weird programming. The save system is very inconsistent, because some stuff is saved when sleeping, other stuff directly, so you will always lose some stuff and gain some stuff, but you can control it with experience. Plan in at least an hour when you start off without experience, so you don't lose too much. It is a game wherein you will improve by player experience, as you discover new ways of making money and how to prevent your family from dying. So at first, I struggled with 500 gold per day, now I start off with 6000 per day if I were to restart. The market feels very middle age like and real, as you pick stuff directly from the tables. I like it.

Could have been pretty good

I hate to say it but the game is in a broken state. You can get into a dead lock pretty easily. - You don't have money, because you don't have anything to sell. - You can't send the miner to mine for iron ingots, because you have to sleep first. - You can't sleep, because it is tournament day. - You can't send your gladiator to the tournament, because he is in the dungeon. - You would not want to send the gladiator to the tournament even if he was not in the dungeon, because you only have one and the other team has three guys. - Your gladiator can't leave the dungeon, because you have to sleep first It could have been a nice game where you - buy wares on the market and sell them via boat/ship in other ports - create a little farm and sell the products via your wife - fish and sell the look via the market carriage you can have the architect build - buy better gear for your gladiators - buy slaves to get more gladiators - give money to the trader and have him make profit And so on. Many things which sound like fun. It could have been a little jewel, a really nice game. But it is just so bugged with crashes from time to time and dead locks like the one described above that I can't ask you to even try it if you can get it for 1 Euro. It's just not worth it. If it would not crash while doing normal things or would save automatically more often or you could save manually too or you would not have to use the money you got into medicine for your family ALL THE TIME, it could have been a fun game. Why make it hard on the user? WHY? For balance? For ♥♥♥♥'s sake, this is a single player game and we want to have fun. WE DON'T WANT BALANCE! WE WANT FUN!

I have played this pretty thoroughly. Has a lot of bugs and many things to improve. Also has lots of potential, but unfortunately the game has been abandoned by the developer. Wouldn't recommend as it is.

I spent one buck on this and I still kinda feel like I wasted my money. You really shouldn't pay more than that.
