Have you ever wanted to play through an RPG as a shark? Well, look no further than Maneater, a title in which you play as a pup — a shark separate from its birth parents and hellbent on avenging the death of its mother.
After the shark's mother has been taken to shore and dismembered by cruel fishermen, they find that the mother is pregnant. After cutting the shark pup out and throwing it back into the ocean, the shark swears vengeance upon humanity. Now, it is up to it to grow and ascend the food chain.
Explore the depths of the underwater as you seek out prey to become the apex predator. Flee from predators bigger than yours, though only temporarily, as every meal allows you to ascend the food chain. Search the depths for the correct resources that will enable you to grow and evolve... perhaps even past what nature intended.
To get revenge on Scaly Pete, you'll need to ensure that you grow as big as possible and use everything to your advantage to fight back the humans. Start by eating fish and turtles to grow in size and use swordfish as spears, tail whip humans to stun them, and gain the necessary nutrients to become the apex predator. Grow enough to fight even the fiercest of underwater predators, such as barracuda, alligators, sperm whales, orcas, and even other sharks, and become the king of the sea.
