Mega Man 11

Really good installment to the Mega Man universe, however it is so fricking difficult. The new mechanics are definitely very unique. All in all, still a very fun installment.

When Mega Man 9 came out I played it and thought, "Yeah, alright. This is a lot like the old games. I like it." When I played Mega Man 10 it just felt like more of the same. Fine. I'll buy it. I'll beat it once then never pick it up again. Mega Man 11 is a big change and in my opinion it is defintely for the better! The switch to 2.5D might have worried some but it's smooth and beautiful and it works amazingly well. I would have been fine sticking to the old 8-bit graphics too, but as long as they didn't go chibi like in Mega Man Powered Up I'm fine. The new addition of the time slow and power up gears is cool, but I agree that it does make the game a little too easy. What's great is the achievements. Don't like the Gear System? Don't use it and here's an achievement to prove you did it. Think the items are too OP? Skip them and here's another achievement. When I had Mega Man 3 on NES I beat it over and over, but I think this is the first MM game that I've actually played through more times that MM3. The replayability on this one is high. Especially with all the achievements and different ways to beat it. Plus the challenges are actually pretty entertaining and offer a more pick-up-and-play style that Mega Man often lacks. Fans new and old need to grab this and beat it again and again. I can't wait for Mega Man 12. Though it's still no Mega Man Maker. I mean come on Capcom. Mario Maker was huge, didn't stop Nintendo from still making money off new Mario 2D games, and a fan even already made Mega Man Maker. Just snatch that up and add more stuff to it! It will print money!

Great game with appealing graphics. A bit hard compared to some other Mega man, but overall, it's a good addition to a game library. P.S.: I tried different controllers and found the 8bitdo (SN30 Pro+) to be most responsive, and personnally, the best choice for me.

Honestly, the story and VA's are the major downsides here. Bit gimmicky, but otherwise a fun entry in the Mega Man series.

Eleven years of blasting robots in the face... and he hasn't aged a bit. The Blue Bomber returns in the long-serving Mega Man franchise with the same enjoyable side-scrolling gameplay, but with detailed 3D characters and colorful backdrops. The developer's decision to include new Double Gear system also freshens up the experience for returning Mega Man players.
