One piece odyssey is a great game if you live one piece. Good visuals with a fun battle system. One complaint is that you are not given full freedom to explore the area until the story requires you to go to a certain area.

One Piece Odyssey is decent. It does not excel at anything but it's not bad either. Throughout the game you go between the game timeline and past arcs (being Alabasta, Water Seven, Marineford and Dressrosa), I think this game could've been much more if it was done more properly, considering you are going back to old arcs I expected more from the story content but majority of fights were skipped from each arc. I wasn't satisfied with side content, sidequest were boring and usually required finding something random or fighting enemies (most basic sidequests in every game), bounties were alright and I didn't care that much for memory links. World Exploration is alright. Arcs were paced finely in my opinion expect the Alabasta arc which overstayed it's welcome. Still after all the negatives this game has it's One Piece charm and made me a bit nostalgic going through old arcs. Overall I feel like it's an average game, has a lot of issues but when you compare pros and cons I think it's an enjoyable experience if you're a fan of One Piece.

This game is so visually appealing and a recommended pickup for one piece fans out there.
I would give a full 5 starts but nothing is perfect. There is a lot of hand holding in this game and there is no difficulty setting.
Overall it’s an entertaining slow paced game that all straw hat fans can enjoy.
