A classic, but from a different perspective. It is not being in 3D inside the game, but being in 3D in front of the arcade machine. Still, it is ideal for nostalgics.

This is a very amusing shooter. It isn’t a particularly LONG game, nor does it have any storyline. It’s purely “shoot at these soldiers and vehicles as you slowly pan across the level”, with breaks called “Immersion zones”, which are short vignettes with unique gameplay. They’re optional, and are over very quickly, but are a neat little changeup.
There are objectives for each level, and completing them earns you stars, which unlock levels and weapon upgrades that can be toggled on and off depending on how much assistance you want in a level. It’s not a terribly difficult game, unlike its relative “1976”, which is out to kick your a$$ from the outset. If you’re into competition, there are leaderboards, but I just enjoy it for the unique design. It is not a pretty game, but don’t let that deter you.

Just like playing in an arcade but then it suddenly becomes immersive, and just as suddenly goes back to arcade mode. It's a lot of fun. Great graphics and action. Lots of levels and challenges. Also has a "3D TV" mode which is also interesting to play. This one is worth the money. AND, no motion sickness.

All those 35+ years old that spent like me your youth in coin-ops shooting with a plastic gun soldiers on screen in Operation Wold or Thunderball should live this experience, being inside the battle scene in Vr. It's not perfect in some aspects, but neither the coinops were, but surely is a lot of fun and rather hard sometimes. Plays nicely with my oculus rift s vr set
