Put on the aprons once again, call all of your friends, and go back into the kitchen — it's time to save the world again. The Onion Kingdom needs the help of heroic chefs once again to face a brand-new threat.

Out of the Frying Pan, And Into the Unbread Apocalypse

You've fought off the Ever Peckish threat, but now a new menace has risen into action in the Onion Kingdom with The Unbread — jump into the kitchen to stave off their hunger and ensure the safety of the kingdom once again.

Cooperate With Other Chefs… Or Don’t

Gather up to three other friends and embrace the madness as you try to feed the ever-hungry Unbread. Work together to get the high score or sabotage each other to ensure you are the highest-scoring player in the team.

A Feast For The Eyes

Feast your eyes on the brand-new overworld map filled with dozens of levels to explore and complete! Cook meals in restaurants on the ground, take to the skies, or even cook amidst the high sea to satisfy The Unbread! From sushi restaurants, magic schools, mines, and even alien planets, there are numerous environments to explore and interact with that are sure to keep the worlds fresh and exciting!

Delicacies Aplenty

Create local delicacies across the Onion Kingdom, including hamburgers, pizzas, sushi, and even cakes to cover all of the best foods across the kingdom!

Don’t Panic

Rule #1 of running a restaurant in the Onion Kingdom: never panic. You will face numerous threats, such as dynamically changing restaurants, moving platforms, and even teleporters that'll take your chefs away. Panicking will only make things worse, so make sure you remain calm at all times!

"Overcooked 2 is everything you loved from the original but with the heat turned up a centigrade or 100. Mad, manic and utterly hilarious, this is one co-op game to beat."
Recommended
"While not the most ambitious sequel, Overcooked 2 still ranks among the best couch co-op has to offer."

"A delicious mix of old school multiplayer gaming and modern convenience, with a sequel that improves the original recipe in all the right ways."

Overcooked! 2 Review

Sam Jones
Staff Review
Every venture into an Overcooked! 2 kitchen can be full of chaos, fire and hilarious gameplay - and what better way to tackle each challenge head-on than to team up with fellow players online. With both couch co-op and online, players can now choose to have fun with friends and family or rely on fellow budding chefs from further afield to throw ingredients across the bustling kitchen, work as a team and get those orders ready.

It is a challenging but fun game

It's a fun couch coop game. There are some hard playgrounds to cook, but it's good for improving the communication and logistics or queue acceleration skills. I haven't tried the online multiplayer part yet.

A fun co-op experience!

One of my favorite games to play with my wife. There's a nice variety in the levels and challenges here, with new elements constantly being introduced and keeping things fresh. Some levels can feel a bit unfair or frustrating going in, but with repeat attempts you will be able to master them eventually, and feel very accomplished! The visuals and music are cute, too.

Like the first, this is not just a game best played with friends, it's one that is only really enjoyable if you're playing it with others. If you are, it's as fun as the original, although perhaps not quite as distinct as one might like. It's certainly fun though, although if you're an anxious person it might be one to pass up. It is also worth being aware that this version of the game does NOT have crossplay with console releases of the game. Despite what google result headlines may imply, that functionality is paywalled behind the "All You Can Eat" version. You CAN crossplay with Epic users, but only if you go into the beta branches on Steam. With all that said, if you do have friends on the right platforms, give the game a try.

Definitely one of those games that's better with friends! Good for a bit of mayhem, laughter, and a dash of frustration- just enough to make you want to keep coming back and trying to do better! Get 3 or 4 people playing this and you're bound to have fun, at least assuming you can all vaguely work well together.
