About Project Wingman

About this game

Developed and published by Sector D2.

Engage in a true-to-life simulation of fast-paced flight action! Use numerous manoeuvres to prevent attacks, take control of several aircraft, fight in different terrains, and show off you're the pilot that can beat the harshest of odds! From the Yellowstone magma fields to the Pacific Northwest and through several oceans, you'll have all forms of terrain to battle through!

Fast-paced and Challenging Flight Action!

Prove you are an Ace pilot with numerous exotic armaments at your disposal to take into the battlefield. Fight short-range with Gatling guns and rocket launchers to take out the ground units or a long-range sniper with several missiles to shoot crucial buildings to your foes. Be wary, though, as your target will be sending several bogeys your way for you to avoid. Manoeuvre through these hazards to survive, or fly carelessly and perish. With over 20 different aircraft and 40 unique weapons, you'll have tons of customisation to add to your game!

Conquest Mode

Embark on the highly-customisable Conquest mode, which takes numerous inspirations from roguelike and RPG to set out in an all-out battle! Fight in a losing war and face multiple bosses and ace squadrons as you capture territories and earn money to buy aircraft and build your own mercenary army... only to face the next wave. Struggle throughout the various challenges, take on increasingly difficult waves, and persevere against impossible odds. Alternatively, adjust different modifiers and accommodate Conquest mode to your liking!

Virtual Reality Support

Put on the headset and head out on a jet to fight against your foes in a first-person aircraft experience! Take Project Wingman to the next level of immersion by plugging into a compatible PC and booting the Steam VR to play through the ranks and be in the cockpit!

After I got over issues I had with my Thrustmaster joystick not working with the game (I needed to bind all the functions manually), it is an excellent arcade flight game. I have played many hours of Ace Combat 7 (AC7). So, this game was very familiar, but improved. I really don’t need a storyline,. However, this one is better than AC7). It is a lot of fun and I recommend it to anyone who wants to blast things in the air, sea and land.

It's like Ace Combat but it's not Ace Combat. It's its perfect fan made realization and it still has some features from the old PS2 games and the chance to be played in VR on PC, which makes it more beautiful!! Really good job, guys! You made a fantastic game
