It looks much better than how it drives.
Incredibly cute and a joy for the eyes, I absolutely adore the graphic style.
Unfortunately, everything else is meh at best.
I was not expecting anything other than an arcade; the driving model is very basic, and you can clearly feel the pivot point (basically the whole car is simplified as a single object that revolves around said point). At higher speeds, the car is unstable in a very weird and unpredictable way and it wants to turn a lot.
All that could even be alright, but is all ruined by a HORRIBLE RUBBER BAND EFFECT.
I consistently arrive within 0.03seconds of Dickman (lol, he's the "enemy" and supposedly a very fast driver) and more than 10 seconds from the 3rd driver.
The rubber band effect will not allow you to race competitively, as it will almost always dynamically let Dickman be as fast as you if you are within 100 metres from him.
The best way of racing is reaching second place and not pushing for first place, but instead chilling behind Dickman without trying to overtake him. Then slow down in the last lap and finally push hard in the last two corners to overwhelm the rubber effect (that allows you to catch him) in the main straight.
It works but it feels so lame.
