Head back to Spencer Manor with the remastered HD version. Players can experience the horrific atmosphere of Raccoon City all over again with enhanced graphics and sound that adds a greater sense of realism to the environments. Widescreen support allows for a more immersive experience while new controls make it easier to traverse.
Detailed Graphics, Enhanced Reality
The remastered HD graphics keep the horror intact while making the environments come alive with detail thanks to resolution upgrades and non-static 3D models. Post-processing effects like Bloom filters bring an even more realistic look to the game. High-resolution backgrounds have been recreated with high-res static images plus animated 3D models to create an even closer connection between player and game.
Superior Audio Clarity
Audio has been increased in sampling rate for superior clarity in both stereo and 5.1ch output, adding another layer to the horror. The new control scheme gives players two options, depending on their preference – they can use either the original control scheme or an alternate one which allows for uninterrupted directional movement with only an analog stick.

Picked this up during the Capcom sale recently for a few bucks and it was definitely worth it. The game may not be everyone's cup of tea because of the fixed camera angles, very limited inventory, zombies that are tough as nails or the save system using the ink ribbons, but I found it quite enjoyable. If you're an RE fan and haven't played this one yet, do yourself a favor and pick it up during nice sale, you won't regret it

The game is amazing. Well, bear in mind that this is a game launched almost 20 years ago, so... the game has no great graphics, great mechanics and so on...
But it's very good in what he sells. It's a old school survival horror, with good mechanics to this genre. The story is very good and it's a revival of the old style.
I think it's very good if you are into this kind of game.
