Fight your way up from the depths of hell in this frantic, sidescrolling roguelike brawler. As you rise, spend points to gain perks, branching paths, and multiple endings. It has a lot of replayability. It ran great on the steamdeck. I especially love the attack animations. Check out a gameplay trailer, you'll know right away if it's for you.

This game took me by surprise! It's fantastic! And this is coming from someone that doesn't usually play games of this genre.. It took some getting used to at first, but I immediately fell in love with it. The controls are great, convenient and you can remap them if you want. They are also extremelly responsive, so if you lose it's on you! Fair game with a variety of different modes and characters. It's a "small game" in the sense that you have three worlds and one final boss but it's has huge replayability because of the different modes, modifiers, characters and starting modifiers. The story is quite simple and straight forward with a probably predictable twist; but then again this isn't the type of game that the story matters much. The music is great and fitting as well. I like and how it "shouts" to show you your multiplier level-combo with a rough voice. I can't find a negative in it, it has a campaign, challenges, weekly challenges, four playable characters with big differences in how you play them, 40+ unlockables (including some that you are given at start), two modes (normal and redemption that's easier).. Many artifacts and weapons that make the game more spicy and twenty-four agony levels that stack up so by the end of it the difficulty is tremendous and requires great skill. Which is how I ended up with 60h+ gametime at the time of writting and I'm not even close to being fully done (by my standards) It has and a playable demo that made me purchase the game in an instant (I loved the companion modifier..). I'd like to see more of it or a second instalment, not because the game isn't enough on its own, but because I simply can't get enough of it and I just want more and more! I highly recommend this game to everyone that likes even one element in it, it will keep you entertained for hours on end..
