I was really excited to try this game because it looked like a lot of fun, but I couldn’t really enjoy it very much. I haven’t actually played Road Rage before, so I don’t know how it compares to it, but I just had too many issues. I do have to say that it was too difficult for me, and I just couldn’t figure it out. I don’t think I could even make it past the third level or something, so it might get more interesting after that, but I wouldn’t know… I also don’t like the way the upgrade currency can only be used right away and any leftovers are discarded. I’ve never really liked that idea and it’s just a huge pain here… Again, it might just be because I was really bad, but I would often end up with just under what I needed for an upgrade, so I often had to just throw it all away, so I couldn’t make any “progress”… All in all, it’s a fun idea, but I sadly couldn’t enjoy it much… It’s probably mostly for Road Rage fans.

Too difficult unlike Road Rash and Jack'd.

From the preview I thought this was similar gameplay to Road Rash and Jack'd, but this is so unplayable, I've wasted my money no matter how much it was discounted. If only a demo was available, I would know not to buy it. Those playing moto simulations would find it more playable, but it might not be their cup of tea.

Spiritual successor to the Road Rash series absolutely worth playing and multiplayer to boot. Buy!

For those who have fond memories of ruling the roads in the Road Rash series of games in the 90s and early 2000s, this is the game to scratch that itch with! Players select bike and rider before hitting the road on a mad dash to catch an assassin with a huge bounty on his head. Between having to cross into enemy gang territory, other bounty-hungry riders, and the police force, hilarity and violence will ensue! As a roguelike, you get to keep the XP you died with and spend it on permanent upgrades for the next try. The game also allows for four players to race on the same screen for team rashing. This game IS the spiritual successor to the Road Rash series whether the Devs wanted it to be or not! I rate 4 stars because I feel the game can be improved. With the addition of a slow wreak cam at different angles or a ride recording with adjustable zoom and camera angles, I feel these features would really make the game shine.

**Overview** The name “Road Redemption” takes the veteran players back into the nostalgic memories of the good ol’ days of Road Rash on the Sega Genesis console. Many companies have tried to recreate this game in modern standards but none of them can beat the classic. Road Redemption is one such recreation attempt, although it’s slightly better than the other fan-made recreations. **Gameplay** This game has a storyline where 4 “Gangs” battle each other to be the first one to assassinate the assassin and claim the million-dollar bounty on his head. The game progresses as you move on from each of the gang’s territories, racing, escaping, or killing the gang members who try to stop you and beating the gang’s leader at the end of each region until you reach the Assassin. The encounters you have will always be randomized so will the path. Sometimes, there would be a lot of police vehicles or it would be raining cars, etc. **Modes** The following are the possible objectives you might get: List: *Combat Race* This is a typical mission where you compete with rival bikers to reach the finish line first. You have to either be among the first three to reach the finish line or be the last biker alive. *Police Escape* An army of police cars, bikes, and choppers are on your tail and your only objective is to survive till you reach the safe point. You might have some allies who would assist you by taking out some of the bikers and vehicles. *Assassin* After successfully mowing down the rival gang and reducing their member count, now it’s your job to chase down their leader and put an end to them while simultaneously fighting off the last remaining members who would do anything to stop you. *Escape from Enemy Territory* You’re stranded alone on enemy territory and are forced to race till your safe zone as you try to escape rival motorcycle club members, who are vying for your head. *Time Trial* Here, you need to race against time from point A to point B while dodging anyone and everyone who are trying to stop you. **Weapons** The game surprisingly has a large artillery of weapons to play from. From a wrench and a knife to Grenade Launchers and Pipe bombs, each of the weapons plays a vital role in combat. I really loved how they made it so you have to use blunt-edged weapons like a shovel or wrench on enemies with helmets to first knock off their helmets and then finish them off with a sword. It’s also fun to use your legs and kick the enemies’ bikes just...

It's road rage roguelike. Don't think too hard.

Racing roguelike with inspiration from the old classic Road Rage. As straightforward as it gets which for this style of game is exactly what it needs. No fluff just nonstop racing and beating on other racers until you die or complete a run. Rinse and repeat while getting new rides and weapons and upgrades. For a good price it's an easy pickup.
