Classic 90s adventure game fun and a silly romp

For some reason, and I don’t know why this was, but I had some slight misgivings about this game before starting it. I’ve experienced other Sam & Max stuff and enjoyed it. Maybe I was worried it wouldn’t hold up or that my tastes had shifted or it would be infuriatingly difficult. I don’t really know, but those feelings were unfounded. I really enjoyed it! I definitely got stuck a few times but it felt more like my fault in simply not seeing things, including one fairly obvious thing, and I was able to get myself unstuck with some time and patience. Of course it is a '90s era LucasArts adventure game, so adjust your expectations accordingly and be prepared for their silly logic and shenanigans, so you may or may not struggle more depending on your experience. It was funny, silly, goofy. It still looks and sounds nice. I hadn't actually expected voice acting yet at this point, but I'm glad it was there. My only complaint is that some of the hot spots felt finicky. Otherwise I had a great time and I'm glad I got over my weird unfounded misgivings to play it.
