Star shelter is a space survival game built from the ground up for VR. You are stranded in a mysterious graveyard of abandoned ships, the only way out is to repair a broken spaceship.
You have to scavenge for materials and plants to repair and arm your spaceship.
Keep your oxygen, power, and hunger in the green. Grow plants, build solar panels and other objects to generate what you need.
Climb around the zero gravity but don't rely on your thrusters to much, they are fueled by the same oxygen you breathe.
Scavenge the wreckages of spaceships and be wary of hazards.

This is crafting survival in space in VR.
They took lot of inspiration from Lone Echo, specially the movement style where you can propel yourself by grabing on surfaces and pushing.
But unlike Lone Echo the controls are kinda confusing. I had trouble moving myself in right direction.
You can use your suit to disasemble space debris for materials and then craft stuff from it. But game doesnt tell you what you should make. While you are picking debries you run out of power for the suit and there is nothing telling you how to recharge it. but it magicaly recharges once you enter the hab. Same with oxygen, it magicaly rechages once you enter the hab even if you leave airolck open. The airlock is another thing i didnt understand. If you set doors on auto they would just open once you get close to them and let all the air out so you have to set them to manual, close them, then conserve the air and then open the other one ... sorry but i would just expect all that to be done automatically ....
Anyway I played for about half hour and the game didnt manage to grab my attention.

This is a space survival crafting game that I totally learned to love. Float around in space, gather ressources from around, explore broken space stations, fight multiple enemies, craft helpful items, extend your pod (base) and in general try to survive! Great challenging fun with simple graphics and addicting core gameplay! Recommended!

Star Shelter is a fantastic space-survival Sim with pretty good controls. It is great fun floating to your destination for salvage to repair your station. The game has some meta-progression in that you can save resources and the state of your station between deaths. Overall, highly recommended.
