Played this for dozens of hours on the N64 as a teen, so, I dunno, MAYBE I'm a little bit nostalgic about this, but I still love it. It's racing at breakneck speed in the Star Wars universe. Each track has alternate routes (something which often seems to be missing from track racers). All the pilots from the movie are there, plus the ones from deleted scenes, plus the ones that didn't get beyond concept art. Plays great on the Deck, the custom "Pro" controller layout needs a little bit of getting used to but works like a charm. The small screen also helps mitigate the aged graphics.

It's fun and has a real sense of speed without being overwhelming. Works out of the box for Linux (using steam's proton compatibility layer) but crashes sometimes in the menus. Haven't tried a fan patch yet, so it might run even better with one.

Great for one playthrough. Fun call backs and sound design, but overall too easy.

Nostalgia plays a big part in this. It doesn’t look as good as I remember on Nintendo 64, but it’s still pretty fun. A bit more repetitive than I remember, but it still captures the sense of speed from the movie. I appreciate the work put into remastering this and giving me another opportunity to play it!

Though limite,d it brings a lot of stuff to engage in. Races are so crazy sometimes but a few tricks make sure you are really faster than the rest which kill the fun. Definitely not the best but a decent Star Wars game. The nostalgic trip and my line for the franchise made me play it otherwise it gets boring really fast.
