Stellaris is one of the best games out there for those who enjoy great depth in their strategy games, with near limitless options to choose from. Colonize, form alliances or go to war with other empires as you expand your own to become the greatest in the galaxy.

Stellaris is a type of real time 4X game that requires lots of patience. There is many things happening with the GUI. The tutorial is a lot to be desired which doesn't explain fundamentals such as how to identify a ship on the screen. There are lots to do with plenty of mods for those who is willing to put in the time. The game reminds me of Distant World.

The first time I tried to play, it took 15 minutes for the screen to load (and my PC has 8GB of RAM) and then another 40 minutes to start up a game. The game automatically put me in a Star Trek universe, which is good but I didn't buy any DLC, just the basic game. Now I can't get the game to load at all. For three straight days it has crashed, and asked me to send some kind of explanation. All I know is that it said 37.5 MB and it crashed. I will keep trying but I don't have a lot of confidence that I will ever be able to get into this game.

Limit to what is going on in the game and the story is up to your mind

very fucking expensive for all the dlc
kinda comes down to who has more milatary power
your mind has to make up all the lore to the galaxy
