Street Fighter 6 features legendary masters and new fan favourites such as Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke, Jamie, Kimberly and more each with striking redesigns and cinematic specials. The game also offers three different control types — Classic, Modern and Dynamic — allowing you to play according to your skill level. Additionally, it includes a Real Time Commentary Feature for extra hype during matches as well as explanations about your gameplay in order to help you become a better fighter.

To be honest, the last time I played a street fighter game, I had to use quarters and Ronald Reagan was in office. I've more or less avoided the series since then as I basically fell out of love with 2D fighters until the Injustice games came along.
I'm not a hardcore fighting game fan but I have been a fan of 3D fighters like DoA and Soul Calibur since the release of the original Xbox. Soul Calibur in particular which allows you to create your own characters. Something I really enjoy doing.
What drew me to Street Fighter 6 initially was the new, less cartoonish art style. I really liked the more fleshed out 3D look of the game which immediately reminded me of Soul Calibur and DoA. However, it was was the games new character creation system (through avatars and world tour mode) that finally sold me on the game and convinced me to purchase it. Plus I felt ready to try and learn a new fighting system.
The most surprising thing though is that, not only am I kind of good at the game, I'm genuinely enjoying it. There's no way I'll ever be as good as people who seem to live and breathe street fighter (and have done for the past 20 years), but considering soul calibur is pretty much dead atm, it's cool to play a fighting game with an active and thriving community.
Besides the new avatar mode, street fighter 6s other MSP is the introduction of modern and dynamic controls. These new allow new or returning players to execute complex combos with fewer button inputs than using the classic control scheme. This comes with both advantages and disadvantages. I've chosen to try and learn classic controls because it feels a bit more intuitive but it's definitely more challenging.
So, to conclude. I'm glad I gave this game a shot and I hope to get as much enjoyment out of it as I did Soul Calibur and DoA.

The plethora of modes in this game may convince both new and returning players alike. Even if you don't want to play online there are many things to do in world tour. Also if you are a new player that doesn't have much fighting game experience there are plenty of tutorials explaining the basics of the game. And even if this still doesn't help, you can always switch to modern control scheme and hadouken to you hearts content.
