About Suite 776

About this game

Go for a thrilling visit to Suite 77, where mystery and horror collide.

A Terrifying Premise

Suite 776 is a horror game that immerses the player in a chilling mix of suspense, mystery, and terror. The game's key focus is to keep the player on edge throughout the entire experience. The story centres around Marcy, a renowned architect with an unusual character trait. She had a peculiar way of dealing with criticism, which, after the completion of her controversial creation, Suite 776, eventually led to her untimely death.

Storyline and Gameplay Mechanics

The gameplay revolves around the player seeking to validate the scary myths associated with Suite 776, especially the haunting presence of Marcy. Players need to capture Marcy in action, who reportedly terrorises those who dare to ring her bell, a symbol of criticism. The game demands complete engagement, with an absence of save functionality and a requirement for players to complete the game in one sitting. Suite 776 offers three different endings, a variety of achievements, and an array of puzzles and mysteries awaiting solution.

Developer's Reflection

The developer reflects on the journey of creating Suite 776 with immense pride. As a self-taught game developer, the creation of a game of this magnitude is a testament to years of learning, experience gathering, and heeding to advice from various sources. Suite 776 is thus a significant milestone in the developer's journey, and they express their hope that players would find the game as enjoyable as it was creating it.

A very enjoyable budget horror game. The scares are solid and the atmosphere is well done. Getting the true ending is rather obnoxious since you need to snap pictures and hunt collectibles. However, you can easily get the normal ending and it's pretty good.

Pretty good PT clone.

You can't save during the game so if you plan on playing a few minutes you're out of luck. You need to beat the game in one single seating. You can beat the game between 30-50 minutes depending on your pace.. unless you're really bad at finding where to go. This is another PT clone and it's a good one. Believe it of not I've been playing this game on a 6850HD from 10 years ago and it was playable, while looking pretty decent. It's a game made by one person so it's got quite an indie feel to it but it's worth playing if you had it cheap.

Buggy game. Menus and keybinds are weird as hell, couldn't remap and the game crashed on me. Would avoid unless they patch and make some user friendly changes.

This heavily PT Demo-inspired horror game relies heavily on jump scares and atmosphere, and does a fairly competent job for an indie title. The puzzles don't require 200 IQ, and the whole thing can be experienced in a short setting. It has to be, anyway, since there's no save function. If you enjoy games like Five Nights at Freddy's and wished that PT Demo had a little more narrative, you'll find a lot to like here.

This game is short and not really replayable, but it's got great atmosphere and tension buildup. It knows what it's trying to do; more often than not, it works. If you're looking for horror games that treat jumpscares as a side dish instead of the main course, I'd consider this a must play.
